AWOL ATLANTA 2020 FUNDRAISER

In 2017 AWOL All Walks of Life, Inc. Board and Executive Leadership Team put together a plan to relaunch AWOL's award-winning youth arts and technology programs within the Atlanta Metropolitan area. With new partnerships in place with organizations such as the Atlanta Public School system and RYSE Creative Village, the organization was ready for a new beginning. But 2020 would deal the entire world a devastating blow; the COVID-19 Pandemic not only derailed many of the agency's plans but would upset the lives of hundreds of youth living in our beloved community. As COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc on our education systems, the AWOL Team of youth development professionals realizes that the real issues will surface post-COVID when youth living in poverty are left further behind by the pandemics unknown long term effects.
